SiteStream Web Services Link - November 2003

SiteStream have made a new web services link available as part of its comprehensive system for house builders. This provides commonly required data for updating your web site or intranet with key data from the SiteStream Sales module. Malcolm Freeman, Sales and Marketing Director for SiteStream says "This is part of the overall strategy of SiteStream that data should only be entered into your system once and is then available automatically whenever it is required. The link can provide data to any application able to act as a client to a Web Service".

Information such as plot prices and availability are available in near real time to keep your web site up to date automatically. Importantly the comprehensive range of site layout, floor plan and house images you can store in SiteStream are also available via the link. This means that all the images you publish electronically to your web site and your sales offices are current and consistent, and can be easily maintained via the simple web browser screens in SiteStream. Bloor Homes select SiteStream - March 2003

Bloor Homes are the latest house builder to join the ever-expanding club of SiteStream users. They are implementing all modules of SiteStream together with links to the Forte accounting system from CyberScience Corporation. Bloor Homes have a group turnover of £300 million pounds and their homes range from 2 bedroom apartments to luxury houses. Although the majority of the properties on their sites consist of 3 and 4 bedroom houses, they are increasingly building bespoke houses and apartments and they pride themselves on the quality and diversity of their developments.

Bloor Homes selected SiteStream for its business fit with the minimum of modification and the high degree of integration between modules. It was important to them that information is only entered once at source and then made available at every stage of the development process to reduce duplication of effort. The system will be deployed from Bloor Homes head office in Derbyshire to serve the group's eight regional operating companies. Bloor Homes are one of the largest privately owned house building groups in the UK and build approximately 1,800 houses per year.
